About the exercise

Skater squats is a new full body warm-up exercise that will get both your arms and legs moving, and awaken your nervous system by challenging your coordination to prepare you for the workout. If you have knee pain then limiting the squat motion to ninety degrees is recommended. This and many other exercises are part of our free workout plan.

Exercise instructions

  1. 30 seconds on, 20 seconds off, x2.

  2. Place feet shoulders width apart.

  3. Lean your upper body 15 degrees forward.

  4. Keep your core tight.

  5. Keep both arms straight at the elbows.

  6. Squat only half way down.

  7. Keep an upbeat pace.
