• If you have a slimmer frame and wish to add some more lean muscle, then make sure that your pre-workout snack is rich in carbs. We still prefer not to take a pre-workout supplement as it can increase cortisol (stress hormones) levels quite a bit. We would drink a cup of coffee instead, if you are not working out too late.

  • Try to include a juice rich in anti-oxidants immediately after the workout. Pomegranate juice is ideally the best.
